• Language Connect’s internship programme stood out from those of other companies
  • To this day I still strongly recommend this programme to anybody looking to develop their skills and start a career within the translation industry.
  • I definitely recommend this internship to anyone who wants to learn about the industry
  • The opportunity to progress has been the stand out feature for my time here so far
  • The internship is well-structured to enable you to progress gradually at your own pace
  • The project management internship at Language Connect really put everything from my studies into perspective
  • I felt immediately welcome and part of the team I was working on. This for me is the standout part of this internship

"After studying languages at University, I was keen to progress into a career involving languages; an Internship at Language Connect was ideal for me to be able to do this. I arrived without having too much knowledge about the Translation Industry, and it’s amazing how much I learnt within a matter of weeks of my internship. This is testament to the individual responsibility you get very early on during the internship, and to how well-structured the internship programme is.

I undertook my internship on the Market Research Team and I felt immediately welcome and part of the team I was working on. This for me is the standout part of this internship; the teams really invest time and effort into giving the interns guiding and training. Every intern gets their own mentor who individually trains them in various tasks, and provides so much support and advice in every aspect of the role.

Language Connect really values hard work and rewards people for putting in the effort. There’s a really great progression from internship to full-time position, and I’ll be staying on at the company as a Project Executive on the Translation Team. Language Connect also has a really great communal feel; everyone is so genuine and sociable, and having such a diverse range of co-workers from all across the world is an added bonus.

I couldn’t recommend this internship enough for any language graduates out there!"
