• Language Connect’s internship programme stood out from those of other companies
  • To this day I still strongly recommend this programme to anybody looking to develop their skills and start a career within the translation industry.
  • I definitely recommend this internship to anyone who wants to learn about the industry
  • The opportunity to progress has been the stand out feature for my time here so far
  • The internship is well-structured to enable you to progress gradually at your own pace
  • The project management internship at Language Connect really put everything from my studies into perspective
  • I felt immediately welcome and part of the team I was working on. This for me is the standout part of this internship

"After I graduated with my Bachelors in Spanish Language & Literature, I spent some time working full time as a customer service representative, though I knew I ideally wanted to be involved in the translation industry. After completing online studies focusing on Spanish-English translation in 2016, I found an advert for a Translation Project Management Intern located in Manhattan. The Language Connect US office had newly been established and I happily joined the small team. Due to this tight knit team I was able to grow quickly in the role and was soon taking on my own projects within the Global Market Research team. At the end of my internship I felt completely confident in my abilities and was eager to stay on as a Project Executive to further develop my skill set. I’ve now been with the company for over 2 years and have progressed to a Project Manager. I cannot say enough about how valuable this internship program was for me, it taught me so much about the language services industry and provided me with the opportunity to pursue a career I love!"
